If you have to fight for a mans attention that means he is not into you, but never take that as rejection, it just means he is not for you & you are worthy of someone who will give you the attention without asking for it. It’s not rejection, it’s REDIRECTION!

Edit 1 year later- Self-validation is the term you're looking for. If you don't get the validation you need from your family (even they struggle with it & can't give it to you because they don't know how), you have to give it to yourself. Therapists can help if you need it.
