Was thinking about this or a Accord Coupe V6, the safe play is with the Honda but this looks a lot sexier ride.

the mazda rx8 is my favorite car i was pissed off at the 2010 version but after i saw its engine, interior and sound it i loved it even more!

It has fog light... Which if you know Series II RX-8's, you'd know those are only available on GT and R3 models. The basic sport model has no fog lights.

U maybe right..anyway, I'm sorry to hear abt the flooding of the engine.. Over here, the weather is too hot and there're some who also felt that it's not suitable for rotaries.

I miss the RX8 I liked the 1st gen more than the 2nd gen. But one thing I did like about the 2nd was the fact it had more of clean unique look to it. I wish Mazda brought the RX 8 back. Don't get me wrong the RX 7 was an absolute beast but during the RX 8 life time it was one cool sports car

@jeanmunn I bought an '05 RX-8 GT in Jan 2011, having owned a 1991 MX-5 Miata for a few years. I don't drive very much, mostly road trips, so I wasn't concerned about the gas mileage. So far I love the car - it looks fantastic, drives like a dream and is fairly practical for cargo and passengers.

It's a gem, no question. Lousy gas mileage comes with the Wankel territory. But my friend has a new Nissan GT-R and it sucks even more gas...

yea man, i know it's a sports car, and i love my rx8, but IF only it had at least 20 mpg...i average about 16, i have absolutely 0 problems with the car, nothing broke down or had engine flooded since i know how to take care of it, but my biggest problem definitely has to be the poor MPG...

What are you doing to get that kind of mileage? I have a 2010 R3 and if I really, really pussyfoot it on the highway, I'll get 450 km/tank. On average I'm getting about 380 km and when at the track it's barely over 200 km.

Excuse me, he says that the RX8 has been around since 2002....Didn't it get launched in 2004? It certainly did in both the UK and Australia, the car was in the middle stages of planning in 2002 surely? I have a 2010, black RX8 GT by the way and I like it.

In terms of looks, it is subjective.. on the straights, the 350z (which I also like) is certainly faster but on the track, it may be a different story. Having said that, the type of track and the skills of the drivers also matter here... Given a track with more corners/bends (stock vs stock), RX8 should have a winning chance or edge out.
