Good to know that the feature does not exist. The only thing we can do is fiddle with the sequence size in small increments until you get what you're looking for.
In my case I need to export the cropped portion in a non-standard resolution to then upscale it with Ai (which will hopefully result in a slightly better result than leaving it to Premiere)
