Totally inaccurate assessment. All the senior players agreed that Keane's comments were not over the top, Ferdinand, Rooney, Neville etc. The reason he was kicked out was because he had a bust up with the then assistant manager Carlos Quieroz and because Keane's playing best days were behind him and he couldn't do what he used to do on the pitch, this incident was used to get rid of him. Keane said it himself, most of the players were treated badly when they left, Robson, Bruce, Pallister, Ince, Beckham etc...
