Great video Beth! It's good to see not only passionate people but also knowledgeable people like yourself with these vlogs. When I ordered my 2022 Spyder in August of 2021, I rented an RT Limited and an F3 to compare and to validate my choice. I have a great dealership that gave me the option to change my order after the rentals. I agree with you; the F3 has a sportier feeling when you ride. But, as a personal preference, I preferred the more upright seating position of the RT and the bigger windshield up front. So, it confirmed my choice and I picked up my RT Sea-to-Sky in May 2022 and have been enjoying the journey ever since (it is my first ever motorcycle). Carpe diem et veho. Cheers Beth!

@Beth — my wife is a shorty (5’3”) like you. When we looked at bikes, she considered the Ryker but she really liked the power steering of the F3. She also has the short reach bars, the backrest, and the floorboards. She absolutely LOVES her F3 … it’s perfect for her and it was well worth the extra $$. To me, the way to think of the lineup is like this:

Ryker = Sportbike
F3 = Cruiser
RT (My bike) = Gold Wing

Cow dog,
You are right. We just traded my wife’s Ryker off for 2023 RT S2S. I have a 2022 RTL. Rode her Ryker around town, which wasn’t bad. Out on the highway it about killed us. The Ryker was nosy from wind, very rough. I rode the Ryker 50 miles several weeks ago I could see why she didn’t really enjoy riding with me. So made arrangements to trade her bike off. She got to ride her new RT home a 160 miles and she really enjoyed the ride. We are both happy with the Spyders. Hope to do some fall trips in the next few weeks in CO and NM. Ride safe.

Yeah! I had a Ryker and really loved it. I got the F3 because it's supposed to be more comfortable, certainly 2 up. Yes, it is. I'm not as tired after a longer drive. My passenger loves it.
I want my Ryker back all of the time. I'm 71, and the F3 is my mount.
Give me back my youth! Give me back my Ryker!

Great video! I'm about to purchase a Spyder RT but one thing I don't like about the Ryker is how low you sit. It seems as though the higher you sit the better you can see traffic ahead of you. Also, seems like the low sitting position makes it a little more difficult for other motorist to see you.

Hello Beth, Doug C. we met at Milo's booth at Spyder Fest in Deland this year (2023). Also owning F3 Spyder Limited Special Series. You are spot on with your information. Love your Vids !!!! Looking forward to see you at the next Can Am Rally/Fest.

Really great comparison video. I sold my Ryker 3 month after buying my Spyder. I do miss the Ryker for quick trips, but I love my Spyder RT. I first looked at the F3 Limited but had a very hard time getting on it. The large floorboards on the RT models make it so easy for me. It’s almost like the brake pedal and handle bars are made for someone my size.

Nice video. And congratulations to the new bike. I tested the F3 and I was sold, so I traded my Ryker for a new F3 STD. I really love the power and that I feel more secure on the bigger bike on the highway.
And the bigger tank is great to have. It's fun to do all the mods.

Very informative Beth… I truly loved my Ryker. I’m looking forward to just as much enjoyment on the Spyder. Love the analogy of the Ryker and RT bam the F3.

I got a 22 rhyker sport a few months ago left over from last year. Got a good deal. Did a 129 mile ride and it used 2.7 gallons of gas when I refueled before going home. My first bike and loving it

Really great video on the two. My favorite would be----one of each! I'll probably end up getting the RT since I plan on touring once retired. I've pulled a trailer for many years one my Honda Ace 750. Once you do that you'll never want to go without one. All my gear stayed in it all year long with plenty of room to spare. Can't wait for the F3 - RT comparison . Oh, by the way, must be hard to decide which one to ride on the next day, lol .

Your intro is solid!! Love this review! Always love your content. I do like the F3 because it still looks sporty.

On my 2022 Sport (900) I routinely get 300-330KM (186-205 miles) per tank - always in sport mode.

Thank you so much, I am on the fence about this and what to get myself as I get older and want the safety of three wheel.

Damn it Beth, now you got me drooling over the F3. I got my Ryker after researching and follow you, now I gotta get me a F3. :-D

? I purchased the 'short reach' bars for my RTL22 but the key pins on the center clamp and the hand grips did not allow the bar to 'pull back' to the rider but put them shoulder height so I settled for the stock bar on 2 inch riser. I'm only 2 inches taller than ye. Now my step son just acquired a 2015 F3-S with 7500 miles on the odometer, so I think I will get some F3 time.
