How to Throw a Football Farther

Quick story time:
A year ago I had surgery on my ACL & didn’t do much for a few weeks following the procedure. When I finally returned to throwing, my arm strength dramatically decreased & I couldn’t figure out why. I was struggling to throw just 50 yards. It wasn’t until I relearned how to actually use the speed & acceleration of my hips in my throw that I started to climb back up in arm strength & overall velocity. The timing of the turn to the release of the ball can’t be emphasized enough. Just pay close attention to any nfl qb & you will see. They leverage their big muscles to accelerate the ball. When u figure out how to do this consistently & effectively, your life as a qb/football thrower will change. As of recent, I’ve been focusing on & applying these concepts I talk about in this video every time I play catch/train. I’m a good athlete already & can throw tf out of the ball, but since really focusing on the specific timing of the sequence & some of the positions that are favorable for power generation, I’ve seen significant measurable progress in a short amount of time. I made this video because I know most of you probably aren’t where you want to be when it comes to arm strength, but that doesn’t mean everything can’t change for you.
