I got caught working two fulltime remote jobs at the same time. I learned a lot from being overemployed and I'm not sure that the risk of being fired and working endless hours was worth it. In the end I got caught but I was able to meet some hefty financial goals that will help me retire early and get out of the rat race. I was able to buy a house and pay off my mortgage by age 32. I you have ever thought about overemployment and working more that one fulltime job, I have a lot of tips and advice. Not only did I work two fulltime jobs at the same time once, but I did it twice on 2 separate occasions. You sacrifice a lot but depending on your situations it might be worth it of you are looking for financial freedom. Although I made a lot of money, this is not the way to build wealth. Sounds like your manager knew that keeping good talent is more important than having full control over their lives. If I was in your position I would have stayed with company one simply because it’s hard to find bosses like that.

I've got quite a few friends and family members that work two full time, remote jobs. Web design or graphic design mostly. Non of the companies care that they're working two jobs. As long as their productivity stays the same, they don't care. I have no idea why this is so shocking. As long as they aren't working for the competition, it doesn't matter.

This is why I don't let people take pics of me...I have no control of where the pic is gonna go and who's gonna see it. I also limit my social media to reposting articles. I was actually a year into my job before I updated it on LinkedIn! By keeping a low profile I was able to move to another country and take up other jobs

I have 2 remote jobs that do not require travel or in person meetings..one company is old school and doesnt use social media, teams meeting or Link..this is what keeps me in the clear with my two remote job

The sad part is that some people have to do this to make ends meet .. counter inflation, child support, alimony maybe - huge student loan debts .. young professionals can’t live on 5 figure salaries (it’s been 5 figures for 20 years) 100k today ain’t 100k from the 90’s.. heck even homes these days are quickly if not already reaching a million bucks .. we tend to think that a mill dollar home is for the rich and famous but it’s now the middle class way in some desirable markets .. and even not .. I see that in the Midwest state that I live in

😂 Yo dude it’s really wrong to laugh at someone’s pain but I trust in your sense of humor going by your personality. I subbed immediately. You’re real af. I’m planning to do the same thing so I’m just gathering as much information as I can so I can do it successfully. One is full time, the other is a contract - All tech. I’m hoping I’m able to balance the demand across both jobs, underperform at one but still meet deadlines but again it’ll all depend on who my direct manager is. They claimed they don’t micromanage but 8/10 times that’s all bs. But we’ll see. I am just focused on the financial possibilities of this decision that I’m not worried about any odds, if any, that may be stacked against me. Hence I’m watching so many random videos like yours to be better prepared. Great content
