this sounds like when you're in complete silence and your ears produce their own sounds

The first time I got confirmation from Aubrey that Mari was indeed dead, I remember just stopping and thinking “Oh…”. The church is still one of the scariest locations for me, it’s just something about it.

This game is definetly one of the greatest ever created, really messes with a person.

“Heh... Really? You really wanna bring Mari into this? Who cares what Mari thinks? Mari’s dead.”

There's a lot of banger tracks in OMORI, but the brutal simplicity of this track will always resonate with me

Sounds like floating in space with a rock in one hand and a Diet Pepsi in the other

Due to the Undertale song of the same name, I know far too well that "Respite" means a period of peace before turmoil, the calm before the storm.
Very fitting for the fight that takes place here...

"Sorry... I don't know if I'm ready for this yet."

If I had a nickel for every time an RPG with horror elements developed in the 2010s that was influenced by both the Mother series and Yume Nikki, with at least one song by Toby Fox written for the game had a song on the soundtrack, called “Respite”. I’d have two nickels, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

This song is very good at displaying what I feel in any given place of worship.

"Mari would be really sad to hear that."

"You really wanna bring mari into this?
Who cares what mari thinks Mari's dead"

Starts with Yume Nikki type ambiance, then adds church bells and the Earthbound subconscious harp
Nice

one of the most sad parts of this game is when you go to the grave yard on three days left and kel tells you how hero acted after mari's death

Don't others expectations change you because that leads to a greater unhappiness than simply being who you are.

Good I wasn't the only one that was reminded of Yume Nikki by this.
