Today I will be showing you how to improve fps in Minecraft. FPS stands for frames per second and if you want to have a smooth gameplay experience, it is necessary to have a good amount of FPS. These settings will work no matter the system or graphics card and you see a massive increase in fps after using these settings. In my opinion, these are the best settings not only for fps but also for having a good looking game in general and that is why I prefer to use them.

“Now finally if you turn off your computer you will get 1000+ FPS, you need to turn everything off. Start by turning your computer off then work your way up to turning your family off. Guaranteed 2000+ FPS”

Held Item Tooltips doesn't show u how much damage your tools do, it actually displays above the hotbar what item you are holding in you hand for like a second of time.

Bro thank you very much, I finally got the fps I wanted and now, I can finally play in peace. I used to rage quit because of fps but now I win every fight like before on my laptop. It brings back memories.

Fun fact: FOV effects FPS cause the more the player can see, the more the computer has to do to render in those objects.

Edit: for all of you fighting in the comments I said "effects, " affect does not mean lower, by effect I mean maybe have some more lag spikes

END. THIS. WAR.

Just so you know, if you built any farms in the spawn chunks and enable lazy chunk loading, they will not work

Optimized settings really vary depending on the specs. For example, if you're on a very high-end pc but just wanna maximize the fps to see how much your computer can do, you turn smooth fps off. But if you're on a low-end pc, turn it on. Also, if you really want smooth lighting on but you're on integrated graphics or have a 2010 GPU, just turn smooth lighting to minimum. Also, I didn't watch the whole video, so correct me if I make a mistake from here.
He didn't turn off alternate blocks, but on low-end pcs and some high-end pcs, alternate blocks should be turned off to maximize FPS. And you should turn on VBOs if you want huge render distance, but turn it off if you have less than 8 chunks.
Also, many people say to set the max FPS to unlimited, but I really think that you should set it to [your monitor frame rate] + 5, 10 on high-end pcs This way the frames don't stutter, and you'd have a less chance of overheating anyway.
So yeah, those are my tips on what to do. If you have any suggestions, let me know. (I know, I'm sorry I wrote an essay and forced you to read it all) (this is actually like longer than my usual essays I write at my school)
