if you struggling to solve this complicated first problem, don't use it at the review to take 10 min and couldn't get right at the end, you are a good professor but you missed this one,  but thank you for other videos

Equating the co-efficient of x on both sides C = 2, equating the co-efficient of x^2 on both, side, we get A + B = 0 since A = 1 we get B = -1

put e^2x - 1 = u^2 then e^2x . 2 dx = 2 u du or dx = u du/e^2x = u du/u^2+1 etc

When solving the first problem, a methodological error immediately occurs. Why calculate du when, on the contrary, you need to express dx in terms of du?
Specifically, u=sqrt(e^(2x)-1) => e^(2x)=u^2+1 => x=(1/2)*ln(u^2 +1) => dx=u*du/(u^2 +1).
∫sqrt(e^2x-1)*dx =∫u*u/(u^2+1)* du= Much shorter.
For me, to calculate such integrals using records is nonsense.

Why address the students for the correct answer on every time..in that appealing way..as if their the ones teaching ..and please stop saying " show.ofF " it's very agitating

In the age of sophisticated calculators, this is horse and buggy calculus. Her problem took me less than one minute to solve on the TI CAS. All these lengthy solutions are best given to machines. These teaching routines are outdated!! George Nussbaum, Casselberry, Fl
