All the tire shops are closed right now and the 24hr service shop didn't have their tire guy in. I stumbled upon your video by researching what to do. This walk through was so damn easy to understand that I went to Walmart, got the tools for about $5 and did the repair just as fast. I go to the airport early in the morning. Thanks man 👍.

BTW, I aired it up with a bicycle pump 👀😂.

Ty sir. I’ve never done this until I watched your video. Easy peasy.

Wow, this looks so simple! Thanks for sharing, I know what to do next. I am at the dealer waiting  to hear the charge! I am heading  to straight next to Walmart to get the  type repair kit handy!

Worked perfectly. Women did myself patted myself on the back. Thanks

Best to carry this kit plus a little portable compressor that you can plug into your lighter so you can put just enough air in the tire to get to a station or if it's a good enough compressor you can fill the whole thing. But yeah this repair works great... I think I got an additional 5000 miles from a tire after this repair..due to the tread I had to replace it. Good vid bud!

I find it helps to pry open the end of the needle a little extra. Then when I stick it in the hole I put it in on a bit of an angle and squeeze the needle back shut on the rim of the hole and stick it in. That way when it pops through the inside it expands back open. 90% of the time it sets on the first try that way because you're not yanking the tar plug back out with a tight needle tip.

Will this repair last the life of the tire?

great easy to understand video. I just got a screw in my tire, (probably was done intentionally as screws dont just wind up like that), and needless to say I"m not giving $60 to my greedy local mechanic for something that would take him and me about 10 minutes to do.

Nice job. Would it have been better to trim off the excess so it doesn’t catch on something and thus causing it to be pulled out

I’m amazed you had enough air pressure to push that plug back in(which for most is ‘the hardest part’ by a landslide), which is less impossiblish with strong air pressure(like over inflated 5+ psi, or at least leave hole cleaner gadget in there till right when your ready to switch to plug) btw no 1s doing that quarter turn these days, IdOnO if it’s gone out of style(IO they’ve changed the plug gizmos?) or everyone’s just become clueless, as often is the case✋

thank you ...but leave the reamer in the Tyre while you set up the plug kit

If he was wise he would have threaded the tar strip in the needle first before he pulled the screw out so it could be fitted quickly with as little air lost as possible.

The anxiety when the air starts coming out looks real

if it is difficult to install put some rubber cement on it and lube it up. it will help

Pro tip, p🎉ull nail or screw out and quickly stick reamer in. Do not twist reamer yet. Get patch and repair handle ready to go as shown in video. Ream hole. Pull out reamer and QUICKLY push patch in place. Otherwise you'll let all the air out of tires.

If you get one right on the border between the wall of the tyre and the part in contact with the road, do you need to get the whole tyre replaced? Or did I get ripped off today?

Will you need an air compressor to bring it back up to its correct level of air?

wonder if glue on the screw rather small thin not so long l guess screw stuck in tire thread and head flat and between threads rubber glue and screw it back in will work this reaming and plugging tends to be very hard work for beginers even can not do it cos do it wrong so why not try the easy way
