Nice I basically have all those same items in the first aid kits I build myself

I tend to always find it better to build your own first aid/medical kits as it leads to one that's far more tailored to you (in both your conditions and ability to use effectively).

Pre made ones tend to also have pretty low quality products the majority of the time as well.

Looks like the Hiker’s First Aid kit by MyMedic run $25-$30 depending on where you get it. That’s really not that unreasonable given the variety of things included. If it was possible to buy individuals band-aids and water purification tablets; then you could probably get the price down and quality up.

Only thing I could think of to avoid having a bunch of 80% full packages left back at home, would be to split it among your group. If you’ve got 6-10 interested people who would offer their preferences & $30 you could get 6 - 10 badass kits with modular storage and no partial packages back at home.

Of course you’re looking at a distributed $300 cost instead of a single person $25-$30, but you’d make sure to include all of your favorites [Like batteries & firestarter, and something to process wood].

Always good to see people highlighting good prepackaged kits since most are scams and filled with junk. This seems like a great little boo boo kit.
