The 'Medic' ⎮ MyMedic's Biggest Medical Kit

Показать описание
The Medic, made by MyMedic, is by far the biggest medical kit I have ever reviewed on this channel. Filled to the brim with both life saving equipment and comfort items, this "medic bag" has something for everything but still falls short in several areas. This LONG video is a detailed look at all of the supplies that come standard, along with my own likes and dislikes.

A 40-minute long PrepMedic video was a pleasant surprise for me this Monday morning! Thanks Sam!

If I was to purchase something like this, I'd still have to go with Refuge Medical. They have a field bag for $400 cheaper with all the gear or the STOMP which is all that and a better quality backpack/equipment for $1700.
My Medic looks dope, but they charge too much for what they offer.
TY for taking time to put together this presentation/opinion. You still the man for not being a YT shill like others

It would have been great, if they had made the internal compartment in different colours to differentiate the OBS from Medicine from Bleeding etc. Or a place where to write what is what. I found out that it is so helpful to have everything clearly indicated.

Well, I’ve always been scratching my head about kisluxs obsession with school bags and their practicality, but this video is adorable! Congratulations.

Hey Sam, I don’t think people will be hiking this pack around too much. The target audience for sale would be groups like YMCA of the Rockies and other summer camps where they need to treat everything top to bottom and often times a lot of it. Anyway, I could be off, but that is the type of customer I could see buying a product like this.

It's really only missing a first aid book, and a eye injury treatment kit and a note book with pen/sharpie. As far as the neck braces go, I'd keep them, they kinda act like one of those E collars they put on your pet, it would keep the injured person from looking around or looking at themselves- seeing wrecked cars, dead things or your own missing leg would put someone into shock. As far as the layout, I would rearrange it for sure. I'd also get some tear away pouches to put on the outside- these would contain the life saving equipment

I gave my mother a bag kisluxs on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.

Electrolytes are really important, since it is what plants crave.

I have 3 my medic kits. Keep 1 a small pocket sized that is in my hiking bag, then the kit that is the size down from that one you showed here. One in red and one in black. Keep them handy for camping and hunting trips. Just a solid kit

In addition, I took the MARCH training and it is just a few several minute videos on how to do the basics of applying a TQ, Packing a wound, inserting an NPA for airway, as well as preventing hypothermia with the space blanket in trauma events.

It isn't really worth the $99 they charge for it but if you get it for free its a good refresher if you need it. It is all basic Trauma response for massive bleeding, obtaining an airway ( they only show inserting an NPA though, nothing else )

Each video section is no more than like 7 min long and the entire video course is less than 45 min long so it really isn't worth the money in my opinion You might as well get an actual; First aid / CPR training course that goes over the same stuff but lets you physically practice on dummies, and bleeder props as it is way more hands on and you can actually get the feel for it compared to a bunch of 5-7 min videos.

Mymedic dropped the ball on this course IMO.

Huge kit. I got the ifak pro, which isn't bulky like this, and it's what I need. There are items here that I would like, but I'll just buy them separately on their website. As someone volunteering at my local fire department and starting wildland training for the season, I thought I'd better get prepped just in case. Thanks for the fire gel tip.

Sorry if someone passed away, thank you for ur service as always. Definitely want to keep 3rd degree acid and electric burns dry but skin might peel when removing dressing. Believe those are Crile-Wood needle holders for suture which is cool to see. Thx for doing the reading also.

Dear Prepmedic I am hearing impaired and wondered what kind of electric blood pressure instrument you would recommend?? Not completely deaf but only haves about 30% hearing in one ear. Thanks and love your video's!!

With a few changes that's my ultimate kit...only I'm in the UK...

How do you feel about reviewing the Openhouse incident command bag, there's next to nothing about it anywhere and I'm sort of on the fence about it.

Hey Sam...have you had an opportunity to review/research the Refuge Medical products? They seem to be pretty handy for immediate management of care for non-certified, but situationally trained individuals. I was a corpsman and paramedic YEARS ago, so not up to date on proto or newer gear; however those products seem to be a nifty crafted and stocked walk/drive about readiness kit.
