We shouldn't let negative people affect us in any way.

We will be affected when someone pick and nitpick our errors and flaws.

When narcissists use daily mistakes normal mistakes as catastrophes and present them as personal injury where they are constant victims.

When we have high moral and ethical standards - we will be affected by someone's criticism.

When we grew up in toxic ambient with verbal abuse 24/7 - we will develop rejection sensitivity reflex.

Symptoms of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria
(when criticism hurts)
- Being easily embarrassed
- Heightened fear of failure
- Unrealistically high expectations for self
- Assuming people don't like you
- Avoiding social settings
- Perfectionistic tendencies

It's confidence, if someone says something specific about you and it affects you that means you kind of agree with them. Learn to realize who's words actually matter, ie: people you love or want what's best for you

"Well actually... oh shit..."

My issue is when somone close says that

I get that but peoples opinion are mostly subjective to that person. Someone having blue hair is an objective opinion so that’s why it’s different.

Um, Wow! Best advice I've actually heard in a very long time.

And when it's true, just be like, 'hey man, that's your opinion. At least I try to help people up instead of putting them down.'

I just say "I know" walk away and instantly forget it.

it's not confidence it's fear of what others say about you and how they say it to u might be embarrassing but really its not it's like depression anxiety sadness it's all about how we choose ether let in or stand your ground and keep smiling and chill😁😎 or it might be jealous or vengeance out of anger or pain rage fear pride egoes that's really it if someone yells at me id keep walking with confidence it's basically a shadow version of your true self we all have different skills ideas 💡 but this guy as always makes sense 💯⚠️😎✌️

I've been trying to get this through to people for so looong. I always call people a purple elephant and ask if it bothers them. I like peoples quirks because I think it makes them unique, it always turns out to be their biggest insecurities and they always think I'm lying. Blue hair is a better example to use, im definitely stealing this.

Thats easy, if the hair isn't blue. Whats it like when someone calls you fat, or unattractive. It's an opinion, could it be true?

Yes. He must have been crying. When I cry, my eyes get so red and so does my nose.😢

Your eyes are RED! You know a nap is in order every now and then 😊

What Julien says is wonderful and insightful but the redness around his eyes and nose has me concerned about his health.

Sometimes it feels like we have blue hair and we hear it at our worst hour
