Fast Triceratops(Trike) Taming Guide :: Ark : Survival Evolved Tips and Tricks

In this video I show you how to solo tame an Triceratops. While it is always better to have help, it is very easy to do alone. Knocking out an Trike is very easy, but unless you have the Carno Egg Kibble it takes a long time for them to tame.

also dont aim for the head they have armor so go for the body

The easiest way is to climb a large rock (make sure the trike can't climb it) and slingshot it if it runs follow it while slingshoting it. I tamed one and it was very easy

i found a trike stuck between trees then used it as my advantage, i built foundations and walls around it while its stuck and knocked it out with tranq arrows, the best feeling ever

0:01 so to tame a trike you go to the edge of a cliff and shoot it with stone arrows 😂?

Here is a way to tame a trike

Get a stone foundation
Build 3 walls high
Put ladders on the walls
Place a ceiling on top

It all has to be stone

Also make the walls go around the box so that you don’t get hit

I don’t think kibble is the best option. Trikes are a starting tame so berries are best

Wow nice I am lucky I found a spot where trike got stuck and then gess what I tamed him very easily just because of that spot! But when he started running I almost lost him but then he again got stuck in the cliffs around me then luckily I tamed it. I was really lucky. I know it because it took 20 minutes to tame it and I am at level 17.

Does anyone know if instead of stone I use wood I know it can break but I was just wondering if it would make a drastic difference

I think I am the one of the only ones who haven't ever used kibble to tame anything before in ark

I recommend getting the crossbow first then taming a level three trike make and female so they can breed

I tamed one I climb a rock and used a bow and tranq arrows to tame it it was easy but the taming/feeding it was kinda hard since I don't have carno kibble I just used berries and narcos
