asking out of curiosity, what would be the difference if you only took a raw image and did the exposure trick at post edit??

Yes. How to take HDR photos with a camera that cant do HDR. 3 is the bare minimum though. This amazing tricks is almost as old as photography, just made easier with Digital cameras, and most ~10-15 years or newer decent cameras do it auto automatically in camera.

It’s not a “bad” tip or “wrong”, but it’s just HDR. There are apps for this. 99%+ of people are looking at these home-sale images for a flash of a second on a phone or computer, I don’t believe the DSLR is really needed at this point. Maybe I’m wrong?
