“He didn’t want to reveal his method, because it would end his career… so I went to a bunch of other experts to see if I could expose it and ruin his career”

A: Can you keep a secret?
B:Yes!
A: Me, too!
I’m definitely going to use this line in the future! 🤣🤣🤣

Why do I respect Penn and Teller's honesty so much?

One of the best magicians out there. Glad to see Penn and Teller not ragging on his effect.

When penn and teller act evasive and don’t reveal it’s a secret, you know the guy is keeping it professional and not acting like it’s real. :)

That gumball trick sure would have bombed is she guess an unrealistically low number like 5... lol

It doesn't look like he's claiming any supernatural abilities, so what exactly is the point of this story? It's just stating the obvious.

Penn and Teller reveal one simply “mentalist” trick that everyone in the audience can see how it’s done. Great reporting.

I loved that she looks at camera as she says she can keep a secret.

It's a shame to choose Oz Pearlman because he doesn't claim to be psychic or have any supernatural powers. He's actually a humble and likeable man providing entertainment. Far better to aim your criticisms at people like Lior Suchard who claims to really have fake powers like spoon-bending. Those types of charlatans deserve to be exposed.

The funny thing is that the VAST majority of these "mentalist" feats, were perfected in the 1880's.

4:48 this was actually a really awesome answer!
he doesn't know what you're going to say, but he knows everything you could say and has such a great response for each option that you feel he read your mind.

At least he didn't claim supernatural powers

I've been watching oz since his early days at penguin magic back in 2002. He is one of the leaders of his craft. Bravo oz! I am happy for all of your success!
