When I was a kid I used to sneak my way to the kitchen in the middle of the night to get snacks to eat while I was gaming. One day my mother said she heared footsteps in the night. So I took the opportunity and wore a Pyramid head mask from silent hill I had. I went and took my snacks and waited in the kitchen for her to come. When she saw me she run in her room woke up my father and told him what happened. I run to my room and pretend I was sleeping. Next day my mom called a priest in our house.

Actually, after my grandad died, who I was unbelievably close to, as he was possibly the most awesome person I’ve ever met....even to this day, I dreamed about him. It felt so real. He came to say “goodbye” and to give me one last hug. I remember waking up mid hug and completely believed he’d been to see me in the least scary way possible, through my dreams. It really comforted me, and still does. But, I’m aware that it was just a dream that my mind had made up probably to bring me the comfort I really needed. I still miss him 21 years after he died. Shit....I was a lucky girl to have a grandad so amazing, funny, and caring. 🌹

This is actually a true story: I've been building my workshop for the past two months (from an old garage in my backyard); and it's only at night when I hear knocking and scratching noises coming from the walls. It really freaked me out because I couldn't find the source of the creepy noises.
Then, about two weeks ago, I watched another one of those Meme Compilation videos here on YouTube; and one of the memes said, "If you hear scary noises, then YOU make SCARIER noises to assert your dominance." Well, I did EXACTLY that, that night! I was walking towards my workshop and I heard the knocking once again. Except, THIS TIME, I looked into the darkness and went, like what an angry ghost would sound like. And, I haven't heard a single knocking or scratching noise since. I just can't believe that worked! Whomst-ever posted that meme...THANK YOU!!!


EDIT: The walls have panels on the OUTSIDE; but no panels on the INSIDE; and it has a roof; but doesn't have a ceiling. The garage had bare "2x4" studs going up, down and all around. The noises sounded like they were coming from outside the walls, and every-time I checked...NOTHING. That's why the noises freaked me out so much; because, I couldn't see where they were coming from, nor could I find from whence they came. One thing I know for sure, I haven't heard them again.
