I just moved my family 1, 000 miles to Oklahoma so I could raise my boys in a place with sane laws, friendly people, and Christ-centered living. It has been 18 months and I have woken up thankful every day!

Hello to all residents of Oklahoma,
I live in Poland and am currently reading the stories of your land. I send warm greetings to all of you, may God bless you. ❤

My wife and I were born and raised in Oklahoma, and we would like to return there to retire. I am sending this video to my sons and daughters-in-law in Virginia and Arizona. We keep telling them that economics and personal and family freedom make Oklahoma ideal for raising children. We raised our nine children in rural Ohio, but now they are spread all over the country - from Seattle to Virginia, from California to Philadelphia - because of professional issues. But now with the internet, most of them can relocate anywhere and work from home. I would like nothing more than to buy a big spread in Oklahoma, and have most of the family together. As society continues to fall apart, the only persons we can count on are God and family.

Nothing like an Oklahoma sunset. The colors we get are amazing. Love an ocean sunset as much as the next, but something about a beautifully colored Oklahoma sunset that gets me every time. We Moved from Los Angeles when I was 12 and thank you mom and dad for that. Now 39 and couldn’t think of a better place for my family. Especially during Brandon’s tenure 😂. Welcome to our Sooner state.

And if you want some legit Mexican food. I said Mexican food, NOT Texmex, check out Tacos San Pedro on the south side. You’re welcome 😋

to all the people who are thinking about moving to Oklahoma who are coming from blue states. Please think about why you are leaving your blue state and don't turn Oklahoma into the place you came from. Thanks and Boomer!

Looking forward to moving back to Oklahoma now that I am old. I went to OSU and then moved away to Texas. God has once again touched our lives as my youngest son was accepted at OU medical school. Hard to even find the words. God bless you and your family.

My husband and I are considering moving to OK. We want to relocate to a family-oriented community. With land and freedom and peace. This video was super helpful in making a decision. Thank you and God bless you and your family.

It sure is nice to hear somebody with a positive attitude. I’ve watched three videos tonight two of them being real estate, and one agent said you don’t wanna move here that kind of crushed my dream but now you’ve changed my mind. Thank you.

I grew up in Oklahoma, and the only time I lived elsewhere was during my time in the Navy. My wife, however, is from New Jersey. When I retired from the Navy (we were in Charleston, SC), we talked it over about where we wanted to raise our family. My wife said, and I quote..."We ARE NOT raising our kids in Jersey, and I was kind of hoping you would want to move back to Oklahoma." We moved back and have never regretted it, and that was over 20 yrs ago. She has turned into a real Okie country girl. Welcome to Oklahoma neighbor. We're glad to have ya. I have often said that Oklahoma is the Texas that Texas (and the rest of the country) thinks it is.

May 23, 2024 I just saw your video “Why we moved to Oklahoma”. I’m commenting because I’m a born and raised Okie from generations of Native Americans and to say that Oklahoma is like what you say.
About a year ago some people from California bought the land
next door. They have been nice people and we welcome them. I don’t know all their reasons for
moving here but I suspect not only the much lower price of real estate and cost of living but also
a lot the reasons you speak of.
While we have welcomed our new California neighbors, most Okies don’t want our state to be flooded with people moving here
from other states. We want to keep the positives of our Oklahoma the way it is, not overcrowded and influenced by out of state people that may want to make changes like
the state they come from. Oklahoma is full of beauty and
great people. Welcome to Oklahoma. 😊

I hope everything works out great for your family. I'm moving to Oklahoma and you guys would be the kind of neighbors I would like to have.

I agree with everything you are saying my only complaint is it’s very hard to get help, like electricity, water, plumbers and general handymen for help. But if you do meet and employ these people they are the greatest people you could meet. I love it here

Wow! You made me so homesick for OK! I’m 90 now, so must have a caregiver & don’t make my choices anymore! I left OK & my home to go to Floriduh in 1998 to care for a daughter who died in 2008! I hated EVERYTHING about FL! The sink holes, the alligators, the snakes, the fire ants, the humidity, the lightning! I was fortunate to live where the sand hill cranes came by my house everyday with their special calls & the hawk visited, too. Also the doves came for their food also. And, I loved the big, old oaks! But, I’m an Okie & will die an Okie & go home to be buried!!! ✝️❤️

I live in Florida now, but my wife has a job interview in Oklahoma next week. This video makes me so much more positive about the move if it comes. I love being near the ocean, but there are so so many things that I do not like about it. Thanks for making me feel better.

Oklahoma is where i have been born and raised and couldnt think of moving anywhere else. I am from north east oklahoma in a very small town called kansas ok and its population is around 900 to 1000. We have good rivers and lakes and everyone seems to be better than other states. welcome and congrats on the move.

I’m from Oklahoma. Born and raised! We’re currently not there due to the military moving us but if we could, we would go right back to Oklahoma. I miss it there!

I was born and raised in SW OK out in the country, and our neighbors are incredibly great about policing each others properties. Oklahomans look out for each other, and it's not just SE Oklahoma with more mountainous areas, but also look at the Wichita mountains in SW Oklahoma that has quite a few little mountains and hills to explore. Welcome home to Oklahoma.
