People from California will feel right at home. Every once and a while we have earthquakes and wild fires.

Don't advertise Oklahoma, especially to people in California. We like them thinking we have tornadoes every week.

STOP advertising Oklahoma! We're full!

Dear Californians, Don't do it. The heat and humidity are horrible.

Back in 1993 my family and I also moved from Anaheim, Ca to Oklahoma City, OK and it was absolutely the best move we ever made.

Our family moved to Bartlesville from Minnesota and we love it.
Democrats fully took over MN and we wanted cheaper living, more family time (we homeschool), a fully red state, and a stronger faith based Christian community.
We are assimilating to the cultural values down here, and are proud to call Oklahoma our home.

Most people that move here from California, New York and other highly populated states don’t stay.

Yes we don't have ocean
But we have second to none rivers, clear, pristine water
That will take years to explore
We have just so many
And the lake are awesome too

We first moved from Arizona to Edmond, and enjoyed living in Edmond. Love the bronze statues located throughout downtown Edmond. We eventually moved to Norman and are very happy here too. Love this state. We’re originally from Illinois, needless to say Leftism destroyed that state, we love the conservative, peaceful way of life here. Illinoians my birth, Oklahomans by choice.

So many Oklahomans moved to California in the 1950s and 1960s, so it's about time the trend reversed. Love Oklahoma and Boomer Sooner!

I was born in OKC, raised in Tulsa and left in 1987 for a job opportunity. Since then I have lived in 10 different cities. Graduated from OU. After all that I have lived in California large cities the longest and watched them deteriorate into the homeless, crazy political view state it has become. I long to move back to Oklahoma, especially Tulsa, a much more scenic, beautiful city than OKC and the cultural hub in Oklahoma for the arts and music although OKC has made tremendous strides revitalizing downtown and the acquisition of the NBA Thunder professional basketball team but so has Tulsa and it being a much prettier city makes me long to go back to the best of all the cities I have lived in.

As a person who moved from Yukon Oklahoma to Europe, because of the politics in Ok, I will say the biggest differences are the very high rate of crime in Oklahoma, the very bad educational system and the general lack of things to do. Yes, you can go to the entertainment district, Bricktown. The only things you can do when you arrive are, get drunk, go to a low quality movie theater, eat bad food and get shot. Yes, stuff in Oklahoma is cheap, but incomes are very low.

I have always viewed Oklahoma as the place where you go when you can't make it anyplace else. It's kind of the inverse of NYC. Instead of, "If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. It's up to you New York New York!", it's "If you can't make it anywhere else, try Oklahoma. What do you have to lose?"

I’m moving out of Oklahoma because of healthcare. Oklahoma is 48 in the nation for healthcare. You will literally die if you get sick or need extended care in Oklahoma. I worked for the healthcare system for 20 years until I got sick. If you need a rheumatologist in Oklahoma, that is a death sentence. Please, please believe me when I say don’t move to Oklahoma because of the healthcare system.

As someone who has lived in Oklahoma all my life. I am in different, on one hand I want people to be happy and enjoy our great state. However on the other hand I have watched as our state has been on a decline. Due to people that move here with different values. Often time people leaving states they have help ruin with politics and ideologies.

For example, something as simple as holding the door open for someone and thanking them.

That used to be common. Now It either does not happen at all, or just walks past you.
