Every since the first generation of AMD Ryzen launched, it has been on a very long battle against the intel core series. Back then intel didn’t really bother to make generational improvements to their CPUs and their manufacturing node, staying at 14nm since forever, but with the rise of Ryzen that has changed and over the last few years AMD has managed to gain a lot of the CPU market share, this is a meme video illustrating how the battle went over their History, is it over? definitely not, but i am excited to see what the future of these two companies holds

One thing is for sure: I will not be going back to intel as long as their socket platform only supports 2 generations. They really need to do at least 3 or 4, similar to ryzen. Upgrading my 2600 to a 5600 without needing to change motherboard is invaluable.

AMD has the laptop cpu market basically. I love my Ryzen 3 5400U, it's a power efficient workhorse.

Also, the igpu isn't terrible in drivers and renders things with no errors or weird bugs.
