I always feel that the stores go out of their way to find the ugliest fabric and then use it to produce plus size clothing.

Just my personal opinion here. I think plus size ladies can wear just about anything and look good doing so. The main caveat is that the garments need to fit properly. A good fit makes all the difference.

Re capris: What if, in spite of being heavy, you were blessed with trim ankles? Capris show them off! I am running out of attractive body parts at my age but I still have my ankles.

Pants are hot in the summer. That is why capris are comfortable

I never understand the capri hate- even in the “don’t” pics I like what it looks like! I guess I can see it ages you because you value comfort over style 😂. I usually go dresses or skirts because wide leg pants are usually way to long and I feel make me look like a house

I have never thought of capris as flattering on any person, whether large or small. A casual summer dress is just as comfortable as capris and much more flattering.

So I disagree with 85% of the statements. But we all have opinions and I respect yours. Enjoy the summer. 😊

I 100% disagree on the capris. It's the length you have them and the shoes you wear. I'm 63 and most people cannot believe when I say this and will say I look like I'm in my 40s. I wear capri and tees all the time. I love them and feel I look good in them and no one can tell me different. I'm in western NC and capris are a staple. That's why they keep making them. It's only my opinion and I always tell women and men wear what you feel comfortable in and the confidence will shine through.

FRUMPY!?!?!

I'm a 60 yr old hippy-ish kinda gal - not EVERYONE wants to look like a school teacher or like they're meeting the gals at the COUNTRY CLUB for cucumber sandwiches ....

I enjoy a loose T, distressed jeans, lg hoop earrings and some flip flops .... SUPER CUTE

I enjoy bright different colors ( I just watched your video about 'QUIET LUXURY) avoiding things that go out of style, hahahaha if I wear it and I enjoy it it is 'IN STYLE'; I don't care what everybody else is doing and I'm not so pretentious to worry about a COLOR being 'last year' that I can't wear it this year, how on Earth can a color go out of style!?!?

I like to ENJOY

MOST people don't dress like that for COURT, CHURCH, THE OFFICE any longer, things have relaxed a lot!

I still have skinny ankles as well, i still wear capris sometimes I'm not burning up, it hotter during summers than it's ever been. Let people wear what they want to just don't be a slave to style.❤

I totally agree with you about the capris. At 5’2” I don’t need to be cut shorter.

I'm less than 5'4", and many brands do not offer Petite sizes. When they do, there are usually very few choices in size and style. Arm and leg lengths are often too long.

I have lived in jeans and pants most of my life, but recently have discovered the comfort and beauty of dresses. I have even sewn some dresses tailored to my body this summer. I get so many compliments and feel so pretty!

With the right hair style and the way you can style different pieces, you can wear a lot of clothes. The hair style plays a major part of how different clothes are going to look.❤❤❤❤❤

Great video. Especially the part about prints. I donated just about all my capri pants. I may have a black pair for around the house on a rainy day. Even though I'm retired now, i wear dresses all summer. They are cooler and easier.

I love what you said about the trends being the seasoning of the outfit. Many other you tubers are so in to the "classic" styles, that they all look like they are wearing a uniform, and no one has a separate personality any more. I've stopped watching some because it is so depressing. There are so many beautiful colors in this world! Why limit yourself to tan, white, black and blue jeans?

I think women learn what is best for their body after age 40.
Most women may go with trends, but classy women know what looks great on their body and how to accessorize.
Geographical location and temperature makes a difference in how women dress. Also economic status.
Your advice. Is good.

I feel a sassy nice hair style and the way you style up your clothes makes a difference but a sassy nice hair style knock any outfit out of the box.❤

I get so mad for a lot of my lady friends at the limited shoes for sizes 10+ US. I wish so much there was a wider stylish and versatile variety that is comfortable to wear. Some really good suggestions in here for when we are limited. Thank you :)
