No intro. No outro. No nonsense. Straight to the point. I love this guy. Other youtubers should take note. This is the way to do videos. Keep it up Dave! ✌🏻️

Unlike other tech-tubers Dave is more like a next door tech enthusiast who gives genuine and personal experiences on tech and this sets him apart from others❤️

being a prior razer blade owner, hearing that ailenware/dell has next day support sounds so nice. laptops no matter how expensive they are, are bound to face problems more frequent than desktops and having good customer service is a keyfactor.

Who else is here just watching reviews of products they can't buy??

I’m personally a big fan of razer’s laptops but I’d probably skip on them next time I need to upgrade

my battery exploded after 5 weeks of owning the Blade 14 and I didn’t get a fully working laptop back for 2 months because the replacement unit they sent came partially damaged

razer laptops have a great design and one of the most premium laptops out there but on the other side it has serious durability and long-term problems so i would rather go for other laptops

I am personally not into gaming at all, but I just find it fascinating to see you break down the key features of products to make them accessible to anyone. Truly the best channel on consumer electronics, keep it up!

Everytime you make a video, i'm always amazed of how you bring your totally deep personal thought into your narration. While most of tech channel on youtube kind of forcing to bring only the good parts of a product (maybe because of sponsorship). Keep up the good work dave, i'll always support this channel. Much love from indonesia

The support and funding behind these companies are really damned important. That's something I've learned the hard way after owning my Gigabyte Aero 15X for 4 years. When you need to send your computer in because it broke, it may have to go all the way back to HQ halfway around the world (I had to RMA my laptop 3 times in 1.5 months before they finally gave me a new device). They may not have the money to continue updating drivers like they should (Gigabyte hasn't released new BIOS drivers in 2 years, leading to stupid issues like sleep mode causing battery drain).

These smaller companies seemingly cannot provide the experience you deserve when shelling out $2K+ for a computer. That's why my next computer is going to be from Asus. The experience of owning a laptop is more than just the performance numbers; be careful who you buy from.

In the UK, some Alienware laptops are available for next day delivery others have 5 or 6 week lead times. It depends on the configuration.

We all have different aftersales experiences. As for me, I’ve bought an Alienware m15 from Dell US in 2019 before the pandemic hit. I had a BIOS issue with my unit and got stuck in Singapore but Dell gladly repaired my unit that came along with their global premium support warranty. It was the best aftersales service I got for a non-Apple consumer product and it made me really confident about Dell products that I’m considering to ship in an Alienware x17 from the US for my next laptop upgrade.

Razer's laptops are great but their repair service is trash. Definitely makes me second guess getting another one.

It took over 6 months to get a swollen battery properly replaced. The initial battery replacement took about 2 months, but they damaged my screen in the process. I sent my system in 3 times and eventually everything was fixed, but it took way too long.

I use the Alienware area 51m as a daily driver. I don't remember the last time AW command center worked for a good one month without a reinstall and reconfiguration. It breaks all the time. I have also used Razer Blade 15 which is not the case with it. The synapse works without uninstalling and reinstalling every now and then. I am sure others may have different experiences.

I’ve been the owner of a stealth 13 for a year and a half now and I’ve had to contact support twice already. The first issue was the fans overheating and the display died. The second issue was that the charging brick started to discharge the laptop instead of charging it.

I think I’ll be getting an Alienware for my next laptop. The build quality isn’t as sleek but performance wise they are better and have some more longevity.

Support is definitely very underlooked most of the time
Nice that you point it out

The support on alienware is actually amazing. I have their x17 R1 and spilled soda on it which ruined the keyboard and the whole chassy. My device also was out of warranty. I contacted them explained the whole situation and they actually send the parts to me as I explained I can replace them myself and the parts were also like super cheap. Their support is actually amazing. The parts also arrived in like a day.
