If you’re getting this for gaming, please don’t, the cooling is shit. Just because how compact it is and the metal body you won’t be able to touch it once it gets hot. Sure it might be better when it’s right out of the box but after some weeks or sooner you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Recommending a lenovo legion with an i9 14900k cpu plus 4080/4090(legion 7i pro) with a 240hz, 2560 x 1600 16:10 oled panel, or a 5i pro like i do with same said i9/amd equivalent as well as a 4070 gaming perfectly fine plus streaming typically still averaging 180-300 fps across most my main games, and it only cost me $1600, i believe that is upwards of 2.5k to 3k

I've been using a Dell Inspiron N5110 with an Intel i3 2nd gen processor, 6GB RAM, and a 1GB NVIDIA GT 525M. It has served me well, but it's really starting to show its age—strugling with even basic games and tasks. G14 & G16 pros and cons.

Pros- awesome OLED display, super lightweight, all aluminum chassis, built for quality, and good performance. Decent configurations for RAM and Storage.

Cons- memory & storage are soldered into the motherboard, limited configuration for both, caps out at 32GB of RAM and 8tb of storage but it gets hella expensive. Also it’s prone to overheating due to the small form factor.

My advice: Go for something more user configurable for a similar price or go cheaper and max out the device on RAM and storage. It’s a real shame cause I loved it otherwise. But unfortunately I cannot recommend it for the long run.

I am an Eelctrical and Electronic Engineering student. I have a Asus Tuf Gaming laptop from 2019 and this Rog Zephyrus would be a good upradge. I love the Asus.

I have a 150w 4090m from Asus and it performs on par with desktop 4070. Maybe 2% better. The g16's 4090m/5090m is even more gimped and performs prolly a bit under desktop 4070.

I have the G14 4070 and if you are just trying to game on the go then a “steamdeck” like device is much more convenient.
