This tale comes from Rajasthan and is about the traveller in the desert and the wishing tree. The Folktale has been illustrated in the Rajasthani Phad style of Art.

Indian Folktales primarily spell out morals to their listeners. An interesting aspect of the Indian Folktales is that these are an important part of the oral literature in India. Almost in every household children grow up listening to native folklores and folktales. Although the Indian Folktales are more a part of the country’s culture but their literary significance cannot be denied.

My daughter at age 3 began talking about when we lived in India & it all turned into a GIANT past life discovery where she & I were Warriors of the wishing tree & that one day an entire village came & released exotic cats upon the Warriors so that they could have the wishing tree being that it granted all wishes & I grabbed her & ran to the tree as fast as I could when before I reached the tree a tiger ate me & a lion scratched her & we both died together, she said that we went to heaven after & that upon arriving to heaven that I decided to come straight to Earth & she stayed in heaven for a very long time where the Angels granted her a pair of wings & that while in heaven one day she decided to follow footsteps leading her to me & that she went down down down until she landed in my stomach again for this incarnation... I'm not making this up

Such a boring story it was! It wasted all my time. I advices u all not to see this story. It will only waste your time too.
