As a history buff this book is phenomenal. The fact that this was written in the 1890’s is insane when you truly understand how London at the time was dull and gray due to newfangled factories, so the level of imagination needed to produce such an out-of-this-world novel is insane.

I've looked around YouTube for an audiobook version of this novella and sampled maybe seven different ones, and only yours is exactly what I hoped to find. You have a great reading voice, just the right English accent for this story, and I also really appreciate that you did the full, unabridged novella.

Please – why has this been overlooked!?! This is easily the best reading of “The War of the Worlds” on the internet… Way better than – say – David Tennant’s version on Audible…
