I love the sound of the bass guitar so every time I hear one or see a video on one it just makes me want to get a bass and learn how to play it even more. I plan to one day buy a Esh Stinger 1 in monster green because my favorite bass player Peter Steele (1962-2010) who was the lead singer and bassist of the band Type O Negative had one. I just remember seeing a video of them playing Black No.1 live at Dynamo in 1995 and seeing that bass i just fell in love with the way it looked and how it sounded. I love your videos and think those upright bass strings sound pretty cool. Would definitely like to see some videos of those strings being used with different tones and effects.

Maybe soloist string for the double bass could work a little bit better, cuz they should be tune a step higher so it help with the tension, also they are a bit thinner

Fun fact: this is actually really dangerous, not applying the strings but playing the strings, as a double bassist aka upright bass, plucking our strings that fast could cause really bad blisters

Maybe if the pickup height was adjusted to be higher it might be more viable but it sounds surprisingly good
