Is it Possible to Cure Hashimoto’s?

Is it possible to cure Hashimoto’s thyroiditis? Not exactly, but it may be possible to put Hashimoto’s into remission. A state of remission just means that your symptoms are 100% controlled and that your thyroid lab tests are essentially normal without the use of thyroid medication. It’s not possible for every patient to get to this state but it should be the goal to try to get there. The reason is that even if you can’t get into a state of remission, the treatments that you will use along the way are still at least somewhat helpful for your body. While there are very few proven treatments for lowering thyroid antibodies, treatments like changing your diet, removing gluten and dairy, eating Whole Foods, replacing nutrient deficiencies, and taking low dose naltrexone, have worked for other patients in the past. And since these treatments have very few side effects, they are almost always preferred over sitting around and waiting for your thyroid to destroy itself. #hashimotosthyroiditis #hashimotos #thyroid #tpo #thyroidantibodies #hypothyroidism #shorts

Uh I had no idea hashi's had an "end-stage". I've been on 75/88 alternating synthroid since about 2014. MY "normal" TSH is just below zero - still having issues with doctors telling me it's "too low" because it's not right in the middle of the average range of .6 - 6 (in Canada that's the "normal range"). The last endocrinologist i talked to just recently was basically telling me it should be around 3. I said, it was 3 when i was minus most of my eyebrows and had every hypo symptom there is, do you not understand what a "normal range" is, in that some will be on the low end and normal and some will be on the high end? Not sure how some of these people get degrees in the first place to think that if a normal range of .6-6 means everyone should test at 3, right in the middle?

This is "GOLDEN" information!!! My daughter has Hadji's for more than 20 years, since her late 20's. She's given up on diets that only make her gain instead of losing weight! I hope she will take heart with this information and use it.
Thank-you so much for your time and helpful information!

CoQ10 specifically ubiquinol form if you are 30 years or older helps to restore part of your damaged thyroid and protect it or completely restore it if it’s in early stage, in addition to Omega3, magnesium and Zinc if you have deficiency.

I can’t live with this anymore, I’m gluten free, dairy free and have been for several months, I eat health and have a 3 year old so I’m constantly on the move. I was diagnosed in 2015 and im only 23 years old and feel so old because I cannot do any daily tasks. I’ve been on levothyroxine since 2015 and no help at all. My blood test results come normal but I feel worse as I get older. I just want to die there’s no point anymore

My doctor after last ultrasound says that i don't have any more hashimoto because my ultrasound don't have any scar tissue and for some reason it looks complete healthy. How is that possible?! After 6 years of hashimoto and frequent thyroid pain all this years?! I stop thyroxine now. Just as an experiment. Because if it's really cured, then i guess i don't need pill anymore! 🎉 I did bioresonance therapy with qest4 before some months. Could this be the reason that i heald my thyroid?! I don't know. Bit it looks like s moracle to me🎉

I'll come back to agree or disagree. I started my all-natural protocol to lower my TPO antibodies which rose 30% in 4 months. No supplements. Only foods.

I just found out that I have hashimoto's from a thyroid specialist but my doctor was just telling me that I had regular thyroid issues and there was nothing else that I could do except to take the medicine ..
So I took it upon myself to do research and I started the Mediterranean diet about a month in 3 weeks ago
I have been staying away from gluten dairy soy.. listening to my body
I have lost almost 20 lb and I feel much better I am on a strict diet and I have been trying to teach myself discipline when it comes to eating certain foods..

I definitely do not want a hashimoto flair that's for sure

I've been on synthroid 20 years. My labs have all been normal. After dealing with autoimmune symptoms for years, they finally ran tests and determined I have hashimoto's due to presence of thyroid antibodies. The only treatment they offered was LDN, and I can't afford it anyway.

What am I supposed to do about all this pain and inflammation? I've already been on a strict low carb/anti inflammatory diet for 6 years. I lost 130 lb and got off all my metabolic medications. I also quit hormonal birth control because I realized that was making me even sicker.

But now, I feel 90 years old. I'm so stiff in the morning, I can barely move. Every single day is pain, fatigue and stiffness all day. There are no good days. I don't get a break from feeling like dirt. It's exhausting.

I meet with hematology next month. I don't even have the energy to go. I'm so tired 😫

What about if it was drug-induced Hashimoto's? I was diagnosed after being unnecessarily put on Seroquel.
