Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach for helping to treat many common diagnosis, such as anxiety and depression. Whether this is a new diagnosis, or a recurrence, CBT can teach people to better cope with the difficult feelings that may arise from a cancer diagnosis, challenge unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more helpful ones. Join the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center Oncology Social Workers as they discuss how CBT can be used to address unhelpful thought patterns through the cancer journey and for an interactive relaxation training.
