So my Nokta Legend has been freezing and locking up. I saw another youtuber with the same issue. I am returning mine to Kellyco. It froze up 3 times during to hunts. If yours locks up, you can do a reset by holding the power and down arrow for about 15sec. Seems like it freezes if you run ground tracking. Without ground tracking it did run for about an hour. Could not run stable in Hawaii though. With the Stability at 5, recovery at 5, and sens at 14, it falses and nulls over and over in the water and wet sand. Its unusable in Hawaii. Ill stick with my trusty Nox. Nox runs perfectly stable in Hawaiian waters.

This is really disturbing. I just received my Legend yesterday. But it gives me hope per Treasure Outdoors that holding down the power button for 20-30 seconds would resolve this. I hope this don't happen to me when I hit the beach this coming week. I appreciate your video. Mahalo 🤙

It did that to me when I first got mine and after I did the reset it has never happened again and it’s been like 3yrs

This happened to me on 0105, I was at a hot beach, I think it just overheated, it eventually turned off and when it came back on it worked as normal

Had to run out and buy a detector while on vacation because kept getting 'cc' then crash. I tried different coils. A day later problem went away. Now the box flooded after 15 mins in the surf...

I had that same issue on the beach, dilek commented and said an update is coming to fix it this week

Installed the newest update. Freezing problem seems to be gone, !

Legend has a lot of problems including a defective speaker which will plague the units for years that everybody has in the units
