And the fact that this is a prologue and that Askelaad almost carries half of the season himself just proves how much of a legendary character he is . Watching season 2 i realized.
Someone does somthing that hurts you (indirectly), does not make them youre enemy.
Thorfin saw Askelad as an enemy but by season 2 you find out Askelad took responsibility for his past choises.
And as we go deeper in the story meaningfull lessons appear.
Where the show started full of action it now reflects on that. I LOVE THAT.

Love how the video made sense with the song, not random videos, the effects from the video creating sounds necessarily, creating a melody with the sound of the video, which matches well and almost seems part of the beat, and this throughout the video. Really good job! :)

This anime is a masterpiece easily within my top five. Askeladd has my deepest respect. What a story! What a reason to live or shall I say not to die. He started off as an enemy and turned into a goal, a reason to live for Thorfinn. The dynamic between them two was like Thorfinn had nothing else and no one else. Thank you for the amv.
