For a guy who supposedly uses after effects, your downloaded green screens are very sketchy for a graphics designer.

my edit would probably only take an hour if it wasn't for the lag, it takes like 2 hours just for it to load 💀

my after effects edits look like caca because I don’t preview the stuff due to it being glitchy. I hope this works !

i add one effect and it takes foever to load then it'll stop and i have to exit out the app

I think, this tutorial solved the issue. I spent hours watching many different videos on this issue, but this worked to some 80%. Anyway, you may not need to change the "reccommonded resolution", but must change "change the texts, apps and other items" to 100%. It will then work.

i go in task manager it shows that ae is using 10000mb ram

Thanks! After looking at at least 10 different tutorials yours is the one that finally worked. I would have never thought to change my native resolution. I wonder why After Effects doesn't have a built in way to change the playback resolution? Seems like a really basic feature.

dude i just purchased a high end pc with rtx 2060 super and when i play the video with smart blur effect it starts lagging so much that i have to wait for the clip to fully render for like 2 minutes and its a 20 second clip please help me

Guys and girls if you lag that means your pc is too weak to handle this software, we clearly know Adobe always makes high end softwares
