The thing that sucks about Angel's situation with Valentino is that it has happened to a lot of people in real-life. Over the top hammy villains like Adam and Vox may be the works of fiction, but Valentino is the kind of monster any of us could fall victim to in our world.

I think Angel makes excuses because he's convinced that Valentino had provided him safety from yearly extermination. Like Fizz kept telling that Mammon had made him famous, here's the same situation. Angel feels like a good-for-nothing demon without Valentino.
Sad things that there are plenty physical and emotional abusers like them in our society. I just wish Angel will finally realize that amount of toxicity to dump Valentino as soon as possible

I have an idea to get #3. Instead of attacking outright, we have Husker gamble with Valentino. Husker wins, he gets Angel's contract. Val wins, Alastor joins the Vs. Vox would manipulate Val to take that bargain and try to cheat with video surveillance, but Alastor could extend his anti-video power to souls under his influence, thus shielding Husker while they put the game in their favor. And if Husker wins, Alastor has indirect influence over Angel's soul, which would make Angel unable to register on his porn videos.

That would deal a serious blow to the Vs and sow major animosity between them while freeing Angel.
