So I'm in my first year as Electrical Engineering major. I'm actually really bad at math but I really like math. The euphoria I feel when I solved a math problem can make me happy for the whole day. I have a lot of up and down in my life from dropping out of highschool and then coming back to get my Highschool diploma. And then applying to top schools in my country to get rejected 13 times before I actually accepted. And How my talents is actually more in Chemistry then Physics.

Besides all that, I hope I can enjoy Electrical Engineering because I really like playing with soldering iron and creating circuits.

Thanks for the vid. I’m in college now, doing computer science and industrial engineering. More people need to see this.

You know, I just found this channel and it aligns almost perfectly with everything I love. I found it through the different kinds of engineering videos. I'm a junuar and taking a lot of the same classes but a little behind. But now I'm going to see how far I can get. Thank you for the inspiration and direction.

I am glad that I was able to watch your videos before entering undergrad, that’s for sure.

It's really impressive how your logic to pick your major was the same I used. Now I'm on my second year of eletrical engineer and I'm pretty happy with my choice

It's crazy that you had the foresight to why you picked your major. In my experience with talking to a lot of college students in the past, by the time they graduated they switched their major 2-4 times, to completely opposite majors oddly enough.

Thanks for the motivation. I graduated from college in spring of 2020 in EET and have been struggling to enter the field but seeing this, I feel my passion return

I'm really happy that my university doesn't allow engineering students to pick your major at your first year (civil, mech, ece, bio). We all get to rank the 5 engineering programs (from 1-5) that my university offered after completing at least 8 of the 10 required first year engineering courses. If I was forced to pick a major right away, I would've chosen Civil, but during my first year I realized that Mechanical was better for me

Nice video! I am currently taking calculus 2 and physics 1 in my community college and I am really enjoying physics! I had two A’s in my past two tests, and think I got an A too in my third test today! I am majoring in mechanical engineering

I feel so much like you!! I also took ap calculus bc and physics1 and physics c in high school. I took ap stats and bio as well. And like you, I mostly just focused on school work and didn't have too many projects and I felt I was just inexperienced compared with others.
It took my whole first year in college to figure out which engineering discipline I want to be in.
Now I'm in second year computer engineering and I love what I'm learning.
Thank you for sharing all this, I love watching your videos SOOOO MUCH!!!! ❤❤

I took AP Calc AB and AP Chem (and AP Bio but I dropped it) my senior year along with architechtual drafting. I learned that I didn't want to do something in STEM but nothing to do with the life sciences. I'm in college right now. I started with mechanical engineering, then went to computer engineering, and after my CS class, I learned that I loved Computer Science. Now, that's my major.

I've always been a fan of space, but then I found out about environmental engineering and was originally super fascinated with the idea of it. I went on to further learn about the occupation and found out its not all I thought it was, considering in field work. Then, I debated mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering, in which I found out that you use a lot of both electrical and mechanical engineering in aerospace, so I thought "wow perfect, so I'll do aerospace and get to experience all of them." But then I remembered I'm still 13 and only at Algebra 2, and havent even seen a spec of physics. I know I want to pursue an engineering course, but right now I'm leaning towards aerospace or mechanical.

I really wish I found your channel a year ago(before college started), luckily I applied to CMPE, so I'm glad I made the right choice!

I was planning to do either Chemical or Mechanical, but when I realized that I was trying to take as many EE options as possible, I realized that was the one for me :)
