Gorgonians and Reef Aquariums (Photosynthetic Type)

In this video I demonstrate a new addition to the Aquastyle 9 a Purple Photosynthetic Gorgonian. Going into the video I explain the different types of Gorgonians and what are the requirements in order to keep one in your reef aquarium.

Do you feed your corals. I ahve a 10 gallon no skimmer and as soon as I started feeding my coarsl my nitrates have shot up. I dont know how to get them down without a skimmer. What should I do? How do your corals grow so nicely if you have a low nutrient system? How often and what do you feed. I do about a 30 to 40 percent waterchange event week and clean class rock and all. I have just stated to do 1 of my feeding right before a water change. I bought a small corallife skimmer I may hook up here and the, jsut t get things under control and then remove it, beacuse I dont have room for it like you. Just wondering if you had any advice for me. Your tank is gorgeous! Looks like you dont have much rock, how do you manage your to keep a biofilter without much rock. I have 11 lbs in mine.

What are the 2 large pink corals? Love the gorgonians as well. I want to get some type of purple one but not sure which! What is the name of yours? I have a orange one someone just gave me, its literally an inch tall and has white polyps sprouting already!
