Gorgonians (Purple Bush)

Gorgonians- There is NO better way to break up an aquascape than with a couple well placed Gorgonians. My favorite are the Purple varieties like the Purple Bush, Plume, or Frilly. There are two basic types of Gorgonians the photosynthetic (which we carry) and the non-photosynthetic. Photosynthetic Gorgonians are very hardy if placed in good water flow preventing algae & cyanobacteria growth on the coral which would cause rapid deterioration. Weekly feeding of Phytoplankton or Cyclops is recommended. The Gorgonian species is a moderate care level II coral and does best with medium lighting and moderate to swift water flow.
