How to learn physics & math | Advice for the young scientist

It really really sucks.

I'm 17...a guy...and a large proportion of you viewers watching probably have an aptitude in maths or physics...sadly for me, I am not one of those people. I have always found mathematics and physics to be very difficult. I could memorise a whole list of equations and formulas and then during an exam I read the questions and I cannot understand them at all. Getting that all familiar head ache as it slowly burns and starts to hurt. Heading onwards to university soon hopefully. The applications of these two subjects in life have always been VERY interesting to me but it pains me to know that I know my limit. Even though I enjoy the subject and see how interesting it is. I've never been good at it.

I remember years of crying and tearing up when I am alone, dreading for my exams for these subjects in my school. The fear was real :")

To all my brothers and sisters who are planning or who are already undergoing a degree in university and pursuing these subjects in life, I salute you guys. Use this knowledge to help expand our explanations of nature and this universe for the next generation. I really respect!

study everyday at least 1 hour or something, you dont need to push yourself too hard but if you dont study everyday you will have troubles specially at tests

In particular, courses in the first year or two of university in the American/Canadian system consists of great halls with hundreds of students. It doesn't matter so much where you do that. Considering how expensive US schools can be, staying at home for a year and attending a less expensive State school is an option to consider. Especially when you consider many students change their interests when they get exposed to new topics ... or realize how tough their original area actually is. After a successful frosh year, you can go on to a 'better' school, and get the attention of experienced profs.

I'm a foreigner where I study physics, I have no friends, I'm almost going to finish my undegraduate and it has been so difficult to do the things on my own, all by myself without anyone to be able to discuss problems and have others point of view. At the beggining it was so sad and was difficult to manage, but with the time somewhat I have been able to do it by watching a lot of video lectures so I have another way of approaching the problems other than my professors. Your videos are nice :)

Taking both HL Math and Physics next year (IB System, not sure if you’re familiar with it) but this and the other video helped a lot for ideas on resources!!
