i remember i once got my old ps4 on after a year of not using it ( moved to PC ) i saw minecraft, tried it and when i was walking i saw a lot of flowers in one square from nowhere on a hill

Yeah true never really thought about the rarity of flowers at least until the nether update came out

Sometimes the game is weird and you can find literal fields of flowers. This one seed had an extreme hills biome where every other block was covered with dandelions, poppies or the purple ones depending on height, mostly the purple ones

According to the Minecraft bug reporting service, tulip patches spawning in plains biomes, while intended, has been broken since the caves and cliffs update (they aren't totally gone, a very persistent player like mogswamp may eventually find a good spot, but even with cheats I was unable to locate a single one, so they really are rare). The code for the report, for those interested, which has been confirmed by a mod, is here: MC-238711
