Another funny thing I notice between Mahindra owners and German automobile owners. Mahindra owners will say "My car is extremely unreliable. The revers camera stops working sometimes, my entertainment console reboots sometime" and so on, while German brand owners will say "oh the car is great and reliable, only a couple of times my DSG gear box gave up in the middle of the highway and I had to get it towed and spend 3-4 lakh each time to get it replaced " !!

Guys, Innova hycross is The TRUE JAPANESE CAR in India amongst other Toyotas….it’s a remake and redesign of the Toyota Voxy And Toyota Noah in Japan….I am telling this after my recent visit to Japan and after talks with a Toyota person over there(FYI I am also in automotive industry) it has the same instrument cluster, same window controls, same hybrid technology, same seats, same engine options, and similar kerb weight, only difference is the exterior. The Innova hycross is a more suv kind of car and the Voxy or Noah is a more luxury van kind of….FYI Toyota Voxy is a cheaper variant of Vellfire with a little less luxury and a little changes in design…..after talking to the toyota person he also told me that the innova crysta isn’t the true Japanese car it’s an Indonesian Kijang car…..in India currently only the Camry, Vellfire, and Innova hycross are true Japanese cars….it’s a beast for sure though there are some cost cutting here and there but it’s made to last! And very less people know that’s it’s a remake of Vellfire~Voxy! I have also booked a Hybrid VX version and expecting delivery this month after 14 oct due to “shradhdh”…..anyways would recommend this to anyone with budget over 25 lacs….long comment lol😅

Chassis balance problem with Xuv700, hearing this for the first time! I felt chassis is the most sorted thing with the XUV700 having very high torsional rigidity and good balance which gives it sedan like ride and handling... Maybe he was referring to the suspension noise problem, not sure...

Thanks for sharing the video motorbeam it was a very good comparison, likes and dislikes of space and comfort, suspension ride quality, power, NVH all depends on individual aspect. Both cars are good, but being an xuv 700 AWD owner I vld say mahindra has done very good job in all aspects needed for an SUV. I was driving on highway and had to slowdown as per my on going traffic, an alto came and hit from behind, which literally for the sound and jerk felt inside car made me felt heartbroken assuming shattered glass and broken bumper, but to my surprise when I got down and checked the car, it was unbelievable for me to see everything intact, no broken glass or bumper only an ant size paint scratch. Hats off to mahindra. Wonderfull built quality, this accident really proved me what magic fibre dicky doors make.

I have an XUV 500 that has finished 10 years and km. I give it for service to the authorized dealer every 10, 000 km or 1 year as is recommended. In these years I have had the disc pads replaced, hub bearings replaced, finally a suspension overall at 170, 000 km. Even the clutch is fine so far since my clutch usage is a minimum and even in stop-go traffic, I prefer to quickly shift to neutral as much as possible and clutches in all my car last a very long time. I have been all over India from Ladakh to Kanyakumari and Dwarka to Arunachal. Just recently I did a trip from Thane to Pench taking the Samruddhi highway taking a flat 11 hours net. The car has been faultless to fault and has never ever given even a small problem in all my travels. Before this I had a 2002 Scorpio ( the initial lot ) and it was faultlessly reliable as well. I plan to keep the XUV for the full 15 years and then probably buy a ScorpioN. Yes, Toyota is faultlessly good, but they are hopelessly overpriced now and the others are catching up. So to doubt if the XUV 700 will last 10 years is in my opinion completely unfounded. Point is, will you save all that extra money that you pay for a Toyota ( XUV 700 or the Scorpio N is almost half the price of a Fortuner ) on maintenance cost in a 10 year period ? I will say no way.

I have driven my Hycorss 6k so far and car hasseries of issues . 1. Super hard suspension 2. driver left knee hits the center consol. Which results left knee pain.Poor thigh support. 3. Build Quality - the bonnet vibrates like paper every time when hits a pothole or speed breaker.4. I could hear even a whispering sound and Tyre noise from outside clearly. This seems an issue many other owners as well.

With hycross you should really consider chauffeured. Most buyers will be sitting in the 2nd row. Compare XUV 700 and hycross 2nd rows. That's what matters most.

Host wants the differences between XUV700 and Hycross, sardarji is more inclined to compare it with Crysta..

XUV700 interior just blows all the competition away. Driving dynamics are pretty well sorted in XUV700, so even if some other car has better driving dynamics it still can’t beat XUV700 in terms of overall value.

XUV700 - One of the best 7 seater SUV I have tested. Engine power is morhethan enough. Aisin torque converter gearbox are more durable and provide smoother gear shifts.

Xuv 700 Ax7l top variant has some annoying features first is the start stop system which you cannot turn off permanently it will always work second is every time you turn from park to drive mode you ll have to release the parking brake One incidence with me I stopped the car while going uphill due to traffic the engine turned off and the car went back I called the company they told me it's obvious when the engine is off the car will go back and luckily i pressed the acceleration peddle on time .Basically they call it hybrid Technology to save more money on taxes and thts they can't allow you to permanently turn off this function, the best part is they are saving more money on top model because of this annoying feature, anyways I learned you can stop the car going back for that you ll have to turn on the auto hold function

Maybe this should have been uploaded to the MotorBeam Hindi channel instead. At the very least, subtitles should have been there.
