2 cons that I observed:
1) One observation I had is that the instrument cluster is too near to your eyes. Usually in other cars, it is placed deep inside the dashboard, thus maintaining a good distance from eyes and better visibility. In XUV700, it being too near, you are not able to read the whole screen at once from tachometer to speedometer across the mini screen in between.
Thus, while a single screen looks elegant, from usability perspective, if it had been a little far, that would have been more useful.

2) ORVM cameras are a bit laggy and are not wide angle cameras. Thus, I often have to resort to using ORVMs or turning my head behind instead of relying on them.

He was finding it so hard to "not" say that loading the car up with chrome makes it look like crap.

I also have the same car. I want to list some cons, I don't know if others also experience them.
1. In built navigation is very bad and difficult to use. Very difficult to find your destination and is very outdated and no updates.
2. Lag in the navigation, you reach a turn but the map shows you are still a few metres behind and end up missing the turn.
3. Suspension is a little noisy.

It's a fantastic car to own and drive.

There's a call action from Mahindra to all customers reporting suspension noise where the part will be replaced.

Corner lights was my fav feature in xuv500. Glad its in 700 too.

30lac tak koi jada option nahi he AWD or 4WD ka. One of the reason I would choose xuv700 over tata safari even if the latest safari gets ADAS

Maine bhi Scorpio N or XUV700 dono book ki hai but will go with scorpion as i heard there are advantages of RWD vehicle over FWD
