The saddest part about the abomination Amazon has made is that they could had easily created in canon lore stories about POCs by setting the stories in Harad and Rhun which were never explored storywise in the books.
Imagine seeing how the people of those lands lived and center it around those that resisted and resented Morgoth and Sauron's call since both saw them as nothing more than arrow fodder since canons didn't exist yet.
Imagine also since those parts of Arda were not covered in length one can then bring in lore from those regions for example the Oliphants that we saw in the movies we could see Olyphant riders and trainers using Oliphants to build structures such as a bridge and then have Rok attack them (A Rok was a mythological giant bird that hunted and ate elephants so huge it could had gone toe to toe with Smaug.
But no they chose to ditch the canon lore entirely and repaint white characters instead.🙄

Its because of 💩 for brains creators like these and megacorporations supporting them that instead of having an Static Shock movie we get a repainted Clark Kent/Superman instead. This Baizuo era we live under just sucks monkey balls.

Thoughts on the NDA? If that's all he said, that they wouldn't deviate from the lore, and the age it was set in, and that they had a lot of room for plot does that really count as breaking an

My perception is that he gave zero details.
Also, it's interesting he said that they don't have the right to deviate form the lore and that that is a part of the agreement... and that he ended up fired and replaced with the woman involved in the woke Tolkien Seminars that think Tolkien is a racist and it needs to be rewritten... and even have said as much when Tom Shippy would clearly be against? What do you think about the NDA?

All this follows from the fact that Americans have no idea what diversity beyond the US borders looks like. Europe is one of the most diverse areas in the world. Every country has its own language, and there are still different dialects in each small country. People are white, but they look a little different and their behavior is different. And it's the same all over the world. In Africa, there are countries that have dozens of tribes within their borders and each has its own language. This is a real diversity and not a California woke agenda. Tolkien used the European diversity that affected his country. Therefore, the influence of Anglo-Saxony and Celtic mythology is decisive in his work. There are influences of other European countries and history. The Battle of the Fields of Pelenor is inspired by the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains, the Elven language is inspired by the Finnish language, the names Boromir, Faramir and Radegast are Slavic and there are many such details in Tolkien. Tolkien's work is sufficiently diverse and does not need further modification to make it even more diverse.
