Someone was telling me he wants to save his money so he stopped paying his rent to his landlord where he lived for 10 years 5 months ago. He didn’t even see the problem with that. These people are taking advantage of landlord who allow them to live in their property. These people are disgusting.

This was done on purpose. I am a landlord and have been.considereda model landlord BecauseI of how well I have kept my properties and great interactions with tenants. Now I have tenants that refuse to pay me saying I can't do anything about it and I can't!!! And these people are working too. Democrats have put ideas in the tenants heads that we are the evil enemy. Some of you dont want to hear that but it glaringly obvious with the words they speak about landlords

I have a tenant who just rang up $10k on my elderly mother, taking advantage of the system, my mom running out of money looking to me whom I’m not doing well either. Tenants can re-coup a place in a few days, landlords can loose a place that took decades to afford and the financially ruin them.

I would too. I would stop paying for 8 months of moratorium. Then I will move, when the moratorium ends. There is no way I will pay the back rent.

The government should pay the landlord and utilities, since they took away our incomes. People cannot pay without an income.

The protections have requirements before they can be applied. It's also perjury to lie on your situation. I didn't pay since the lockdown but paid everything this month. I don't want to go to court & prove that I don't have income. So the landlords just have to wait. At least they have a home.

If they could just write money grants for money that is owed in tennet usage to then write it off on loan debt for landlords to the banks. And then our government can money manage to reimburse our big corporate banks on there own and not have to put our people in the middle of a pit bull fight for survival. Being a leader is not only just being able to bark orders, it’s being able to be competent enough to know what needs to be done to show the most peaceful resolution. But hey I’m just 23. And they are in there 70s. They must know more then me???

I missed the old days when this situation could be handled by some tall strong Italian gentlemen having a convo with the tenant.

Landlords are abused by the government not the tenants. When did Government have right to force people in your house? Wtf
