When I was in my 20's (50 years ago) a person could draw their own house plans. Today a number of different experts have to be engaged (engineers) etc. It can cost over $50, 000 just to get plans approved. Insanity!

If they want to keep building but think they can’t afford to build that size house why not built it smaller with a view to adding later as what has been built so far has value ? Worth thinking about it ?

Construction industry needs more investment and gotta be paid more respectively. Builders are underpaid without a mechanism of coping with current material and labour costs. Governement is to blamed. So many builders collapsed in recent years.

One of the conditions a company like this can operate is that they have to sign a document that says the trades have been paid. So where is that document. And now it's fraudulent operation and operating insolvent. The trades cop ot BAD. I KNOW BECAUSE IT ruined me . Next month, the builder will start again under a new name. Go for another 5 yrs and do the same thing again. I have seen it at least 15 times over the years, destroying so many just having a go. While ol mate sips pina coladas earning 10%. It's B/S
