Grabbed the Metabo 30⁰ a few months ago. The DeWalt 21⁰ treated me well enough for over 3 years but the Metabo has definitely been an upgrade. Was sinking 3" nails over 1/4" deep into solid LVL with no wind up and much less recoil.

i think the plastic on the end is to protect the wood if needed it does come off i have this nailer and it has been faultless .

I can grab my Dewalt degree framing nailer that is seven years old still works just like that one I’ve had to change springs in at one time

Yeah this is that one off tool that dewalt should have put a bit more thought into. Milwaukee nailed it with theirs lol. Dewalt needs to lose the ramp up and then we can talk.
