Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.

I think people need to start valuing the dual type megas candy value much higher than most do. The added value of having a mega that can get you extra candy during a steel or fighting event is as valuable as its high dps value in raids. Heracross has the same value as an event farmer

Lucario is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. I went downtown and took part in 12 raids there, in addition I've been to some remote raids and probably will do some more. I caught one shiny but none with really good IVs. On the other hand, I already have three 96% Lucarios from before, so it doesn't really matter. I still hope that I'll catch a hundo, just as a matter of principle :D

I was able snag a shiny (decent IV 3*), and a 96% one. It was only my second raid day since I started playing (Oct. 2023), and it was blast. My wife, daughter, BIL, and I got in with a good group and were able to beat out a bunch.

I stopped playing pokemon go after about a year after it came out. Not because I got bored, but simply because other gacha games came out and they kinda stole my attention.

I recently got back into simply because a few coworkers told me about this discord group that actually helps with raids. Since my biggest issue before was trying to find people to do raids with in my small town. But once I learned about the remote passes and the discord group. This was sort of my biggest chance to finally catch one of my favorite pokemons!

And low and behold, also get a chance at getting it's mega form! So overall, I'm happy now. I'm still catching them as we speak and having a blast doing it.

I see people talking about "hundos", so I guess that means perfect IV's. Haven't gotten one of those yet, but even if I don't get one. I"m just happy I'm finally able to have a lucario!

First raid of the makeup raid day on Sunday I got a shundo

I didn't get a hondo, but I have some with real good IV's, and four more shiny. Not counting the 200 mega energy i spent to make my best shiny go mega, I have about 4200 from raid day.
