They really need to release Mega Lucario soon, probably be one of the Pokemon I raid hard on.
Although I did just get my first Shundo being Riolu and got enough XL candies to max out to Lucario.
I know it might be strange to some, but because Lucario is within my top 3 favorite Pokemon I already decided I was going to have Mega Lucario be the first pokemon I Mega evolve in the game decided that when I first started the game in 2020.
Think they should have released Mega Lucario when the Masters 8 tournament was going in the anime might have made them more money during that time, but Lucario is still popular enough, but think it is a bit of missed opportunity there though.

As a ghost attacker, ML is recommended to have counter as a fast move. However, if you want to use a ghost attacker, that means you’re going up against either a psychic- or a ghost-type Pokémon, both of which will resist the counter. As a result, I think ML is only a strong ghost attacker on paper.

Yeah I messed up. I got a hundo and shiny 98 and I evolved them both before I realized your tip on upgrading the charge moves before evolution. Damn

very cool think about mega lucario is how you'd get double purpose specifically for using it as a fighting type into steel raids, and into metagross you can even use shadowball and still get good damage.

My son only hatched 1 shiny and he thought he was done hatching them and evolved the shiny, he used all his candy to power it up and a few minutes later he noticed he had one more hatching and it was a hundo

Lucario actually gets meteor mash in the game. If it got it in go, it would be ridiculously strong.

7:40 you mentioned Lunala doesn’t have a mega form, but itself and Solgaleo can both eventually fuse with Necrozma to make “Dawn Wings” and “Dusk Mane” Necrozma, which can then further transform to Ultra Necrozma.
Would recommend looking into these beasts stats/doing a video on them for a lookahead as I think they’ll most likely break the game when released 👍🏻

Mega Lucario's CP is already average lowish enough, compared to many other Megas that are already out in the game, Niantic isnt going to nerf it further

Just wondering how we'll be able to get enough XL candies to Mega Evolve it multiple times? I've literally had one Lucario and minimal candies for years because it doesn't wild spawn and I've never seen it in raids. Thankfully we've just had hatch day so I've stocked up for now but hope it appears more frequently in the future.
