I love how Matthew Rhys being Welsh near broke the internet (meanwhile most British people were sat there thinking "Do...do you not know Rhys is one of the most Welsh surnames you can get?")

I went through this entire video, waiting for you to mention Hugh Laurie. Hugh already had a very successful comedy career in English comedy, years before his breakout US role as Dr Gregory House on House MD. Throughout the entire series, he not only spoke as a native US doctor, but had to consistently nail the pronunciation of obscure, medical terms and conditions, all while suppressing his native English accent.

Toni Collette is a master of accent. And acting.

I swear Aussies and Brits are good at disguising their accents whenever it's needed

Hugh Jackman used his real accent in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, he played himself doing a London stage production of Camelot. He also used it as the Easter Bunny in Rise of the Guardian’s.

Carey Elwes is bidialectal too. He was raised in the UK and in Florida. John Barrowman is bidialectal and grew up with a Scottish accent until he was nine. He and his sister were on a talk show talking together, and they both suddenly switched from their natural American accents to their equally natural Scottish accents mid-sentence!

Most people doesn't even know that Andrew Garfield grow up in London and still lives there. To the point people are confused why that he use English accent in an interview.

Actually you should be impressed with Saoirse Ronan's accent in Brooklyn because it's NOT her normal Irish accent. Her character, Eilis, has an Enniscorthy accent which is different from the Dublin / Carlow blend accent.

How often have you heard Cate Blancett use her natural Australian accent?

How about Nicole Kidman? She used her real accent in Lion and not many more films, not even in Australia.

Hugh Laurie is another one. Between Stuart Little, House and even a guest spot on Friends (possibly more that I can't think of right now) He's always put on an American accent instead of his British one.

Thank you for putting Mary Queen of Scots on the list for Margot clips, (even though Saorise was also in this movie). It’s soo underrated!

Hugh Jackman as Memphis The Penguin in Happy Feet was basically a very good Elvis Presley impression.

He's passed away, but Raul Julia's natural accent was Puerto Rican. He could turn it on and off in an instant. If you watch him as Gomez Addams, you'd never guess his first language wasn't English.

Alexander Skarsgard. Uses his Swedish accent in zoolander but have rarely heard it since. Even in interviews.

Charlie Cox. His native accent is British. As Daredevil/Matt Murdock, he used an American accent. In Boardwalk Empire and Kin, he used an Irish accent.

Saoirse Ronan didn't actually use her own accent for Brooklyn. She used a different Irish dialect than her own. She'd nuever used her own accent for a role before, and felt that the different accents she has used help bring her into the role and into character. So she opted to use a different dialect.

You know who really surprised me? Idris freaking Elba. After seeing him only on The Wire it blew my mind when I heard him speak in his native British accent the first time. Heck, it STILL surprises me.
