This young man might be TRULY seeking! I pray his search for truth, will lead him to Jesus. "The Lord searches EVERY heart, and understands every desire, and every thought. If you seek him, he WILL be found by you" (1 Chronicles 28:9). Although Frank could have said MORE in response, I agree nonetheless.

Could you post a video that is a compilation of this guy's questions? He asks great questions and I would love to see the questionnaire in one shot.

This guy has had a ton of questions! I appreciate how kind he is as opposed to some people who start yelling or being facetious.

What I gotta say is because they call it "a error" don't mean it's a error GOD don't make mistakes. If you interview ten people on the same thing but get different results why don't people say that's an error? I'm sick of that with people just making excuse to not believe we'll it's sad but it's your choice. I'll pray for you but that's all I can do. GOD Loves you all have a Blessed week

The only error here is you for not believing and receiving!!! People doubt what they don't understand and if you at least tried too understand YOU WILL FIND THE TRUTH. The End🖋📝

Even if you find an error in the New Testament that does'nt negate it. I humbly ask, What are you saying?

I don’t know how if something is supposed to be the inerrant word of god, and it has an error in it, it doesn’t negate the whole thing. Is Frank conceding here that the New Testament does indeed have an error? As for the early Christians, which texts were they following? Just the Old Testament?

That answer to that young mans question was purely bs

A very important point about those that were there and saw was that they believed it to the point of being put to death. They saw it first hand, not from someone else, so they knew it was no lie and proved that by their own deaths.

No one would die for a lie. Not someone sane anyway. But these were many many people put to death with first hand experiance to the truth of what they saw. If they knew it was not true they would have not died, not as a first hand witness.

Today in all religions people die for their faith, but not on a mass scale as first hand witnesses as it was for the first century church. They saw the truth, even to gladly give their lives for it, and they did. It is the truth.

Dr. Turek is being a bit obtuse when he says that just because you find "an error" in the Bible it doesn't mean you reject the truth in it. You shouldn't reject the truth in any book even if 90% of the book is full of errors.

Assuming you know what the 90% errors are, and what the truth it.

The point of saying there are errors in the Bible is that you can't independently verify truth, and if there are errors in the Bible you can't use the Bible to claim that things are true unless you independently verify them.

How can we measure ourselves by something what is already corrupted?

The first thing that must be addressed is when one says mistakes or error you must mention what is false. See the Bible is a road Map to a treasure steps to take and people to follow it also has in it traps as any good map would only the worthy make it to the end read Daniel 12:10 so what you may think is an error is there for a reason. Who are you really is the question God is asking you? Jesus said this but in Romans it says something slightly different; Close but different. God said he would use Paul as a vessel to do his will. Acts 9:15 He has a will for the righteous and for the Unrighteousness. This Paul took to the Gentiles. Jesus and Moses said this, but I Paul say that, which will you choose? No error it’s a choice. Now read it again and you will see.

'If there are errors in the Bible, is Christianity false?' - What do you mean 'if'? The book is riddled with errors, contradictions, myth portrayed as history, immorality, as well as many parts being fabrications. In the NT great doubt is expressed by scholars as to the true authorship of Jude, James, 1 and 2 Timothy, 1 and 2 Peter, Colossians and Acts. The gospels are written long after the events described by non eye-witnesses. Only Mark is original as the others rely heavily on Mark. Mark has an ending added later and probably has been significantly altered over time as we have 2nd and 3rd century Christian writers quoting from Mark but using text that matches nothing in the Mark we have today. The gospel of Mark is written in fictional story format and includes events which are apocryphal and metaphorical (eg the withering of the fig tree). There is zero contemporary evidence Jesus even existed as a historical character. the Old testament started to be put together by the creation of the Pentateuch during the Babylonian exile. Previous to this the Hebrews were polytheistic and emerged from the Canaanite population of southern Judea (this fact honestly reported by Israeli archaeologists tasked with validating their countries claims, they resisted the great temptation to give their paymasters what they wanted and reported accurately what they found). The history put together in the Pentateuch (Abraham, Moses & the Exodus, Solomon etc) was a fictional new history (as shown by archaeology ) of the Hebrews created to support the new monotheistic Judaism emerging under the influence of Zoroastrianism. Later books of the Old testament were added ad hoc and some can actually be dated very accurately as fabricated, the classic example being Daniel (due to its 'predictions' going wrong halfway through). The creation story, cosmology, biology and other 'facts' given in the Bible are wholly wrong and entirely in keeping with the lack of knowledge of the primitive people who wrote the books.
Moving to Islam, the Quran shows obvious signs of fabrication from Judaic and Ebionite scriptures, originally in Syriac and transcribed into proto Arabic. The book includes many references to the same invented Mosaic history. The origin of Islam is also clouded in mystery as there is no historic mention of Mohammed or Islam until well after the supposed date of the prophet's death (632 ad) and well after the rise of the first Arabic control of the Middle east after the decline of Christian (based in Constantiople) and Persian influence (references from the time describe the Arabs as believing either a form of Christianity (Ebionite) or Judaism). The four oldest known Qurans have some 2000 textual differences and the earliest quranic inscriptions in the first mosques (esp Dome of the rock) differ from anything in any modern Quran.
I would welcome anyone interested to research this topic by reading the appropriate historical, archeological and linguistic research. I can provide copious references if asked (politely). Rude comments, threats of hell and damnation and preaching will either be ignored or ridiculed. Also if you wish to argue against anything I have said here be prepared to back it up with evidence, assertions without evidence are worthless and will also be ignored (Hitchen's razor applies)
