In Invincible Cecil meets with Nolan and Debbie on the moon and finally sets his punishment for what he previously did on Earth
Nolan is hereby exiled from the planet and although Debbie protests, Nolan admits he deserves much worse than this
Cecil also claims Nolan needs to pay some rent for living up here and tasks him with keeping an eye on the Viltrumites whose ship is also docked on the moon
He then makes his exit and Nolan and Debbie are about to get busy before we see Grand Regent Thragg, with pure rage spilling from his eyes, staring from outside the window
Thragg breaks through the base window, crashing right into Omni-Man as
Debbie is flung into space but manages to hold on long enough for Omni-Man to headbutt Thragg and rush out to rescue his wife
Thragg grabs Omni-Man’s cape and throws him to the ground but he is able to protect Debbie and desperately launches her towards the emergency airlock where she is finally able to draw breath
With his wife out of danger, Omni-Man grabs Thragg and asks why he is doing this when they have a truce with Earth
He claims he poses no threat to the Grand Regent, unaware of his own Viltrumite heritage so Thragg takes this chance to educate Nolan on where he really comes from and what bloodline him and Invincible belong to

Thraggs fear and need for control caused his downfall and being dethroned.

Nolan and Mark would've never known they were the next rightful rulers and neither would've the rest of the Viltrumites, yet Thragg couldn't help himself and it didn't end well for him.
