It’s hilarious that he’s an amazing liar, unless he’s lying to her. She sees right through his bullshit every time.

It's kind of weird Walter never came up with a consistent excuse to use. Like, "no Skylar, I'm not cooking meth in the desert. I'm just going to book club".

Walt's complete inability to find a middle ground between bold face lying and outright confession is frustrating to watch sometimes. How he ever thought complete denial in the face of overwhelming evidence would work on someone as intelligent as Skyler is beyond me. All he had to do was be honest with Skyler that there were in fact things going on with him that he wasn't ready to share with her and she would have accepted it. But instead Walt foolishly thinks he can just pull the wool over her eyes time and again and deny everything. For such a genius, he can be a real fool sometimes.

So sad that they deleted the scene where walt says "Skyler!, im Breaking bad!"

I hate how much hate Skyler gets in this show. She reacts completely appropriately to Walt's bullshit. You could make your case for when she starts being part of the business, but even then, she's being pragmatic and working with what little power she has. Anna Gunn did a phenomenal job as Skyler, and the fact that she got death threats for playing this role is absolutely insane.

Man Anna Gunn is seriously an amazing actress, she played this part perfectly.

I love how the camera shakes in this scene it really shows the gravity of it and their crumbling marriage

It’s a small subtle thing, but it really sells the emotional impact of the scene.

Walt- ok I'm a middle aged man who is dying and has little to no financial support for my family when I'm gone so I'm scattering trying to find a way to leave you guys set for life. hank showed me at work how a meth manufacturer can make millions with minimal chemistry experience and I'm a genius who will be dead soon so even though this is illegal it will be impossible for me to cause danger or panic or stain my name and reputation in that amount of time and any kind of crime or injury that will happen is me will be irrelevant after I'm dead soon and therefore leaving you guys with enough money to never work again. If I don't do this for you guys it will haunt my soul and I will not rest easy.

Skyler- oh ok
